Why choose paraffin or soy wax?

paraffin wax , made from distillation from petroleum, commonly used in wax/candles has a harder snap, and long shelf life ,no additives

soy wax , it’s natural made from natural hydrogenated soy bean has a softer snap but has a really good scent throw, it doesn’t release soot, additives are often added
